the last crowd just left ard 5-10mins ago..
I'm serious.. I feel much loved today..
as usual birthday dinner was planned..
with my family.. xcept that my dad isn't ard
so there was only mum, sis and weihao..
went to church in the morning..
and had a birthday surprise before lunch
soooo coool.. like really I didn't expect it
pretty baffled..
b'coz maybe a small muffin or a small cake
but noooo... they came prepared with like a big choc cake
and gold candles.. with the interns..
and a.cindy.. and pastors..
it's literally God showering me with His love
by bringing all these pple and the surprise into my life...

dinner started off with a slight glitch...
went off late.. and there was some unhappiness at the start
but it ended off GooD.. Lovely God moving in our midst
taking away strife and frustration...
had dinner at Il Principe
*yuuummmsss...
it's really nice.. and with the entertainment discount
it's really worth it!!! *highly recommended
the ambience and service is pretty good as well..
and den came home from dinner..
it was a bit *suss..
with one set of my folding doors closed
but I went on ahead.. and a big enuff grp were there..
to surprise me.. in the tv area..
but I got fooled into
a 2nd surprise..
Teck went "Oh shirley.. your birthday present is left in your room.. go get it"
I can't believe I actually bought into that trick...
went into my room.. and got one of the biggest shock in my life..
when a whole big grp of them were hiding in my room and walk-in wardrobe.. with cake and candles and all.. and the "Surprise" greeting.. was pretty deafening and shocking.. and I actually jumped up and screamed.. so you can imagine.. yeah..
let's give a head count.. since there was no pics...

22 pple were present!!.. that's excluding drew drew my dog.. hehehe.. but yeah.. I turned 22 on 22nd Aug'2006 .. with 2 surprise within a day (double dosage at nite).. sat at table 22 for dinner... so cool eh.. it was all a coincidence.. we booked the table.. and the waitress was browsing thru the list of bookings.. we took a glance.. and saw that we were assigned to table no. 22!.. the tables didn't exactly have a no. tag.. so by right we wouldn't have known..
Thank You Heavenly Father.. for loving me in such a special way... by bringing all these pple into my midst.. and having such lovely surprises for me.. really made me feel pampered.. love(d).. doted.. and extra special on this day..
And to curious souls out there.. who's wondering what birthday wish I made just now... hmmz.. it's like I said.. A prayer to God.. same wish I made last yr... my parents' salvation.. :)
