this is the 3rd time I'm retyping this post.. coz my firefox kept crashing previously!! my computer is really unstable.. and I have to do another round of photo/video montage for my sister's wedding... aaarrrggghhhh.. this is madness... :(
anyway, yup.. I just realised I've been back in SG for 19 days... seems as though I've been back for a long while.. but yet it isn't that many days... if I count by sundays.. I've spent 3 sundays in S'pore already.. 1st sunday I went to Wesley Methodist Church.. met up with JO aka Jeremy Ong.. and had a good time catching up with him over lunch.. 1st time visited that church.. pretty FCC-ish.. the 2nd sunday I went to All Saints Presbyterian Church with Mark.. hehe.. managed to catch up with the Lead Pastor.. Ps Philip Huan and his wife.. Jenni Huan.. and witnessed his son, Keith's infant baptism.. hehe.. so cool.. and it's pretty nice of them to rmbr me.. and kept me in their prayers.. :) the 3rd sunday went to Kum Yan Methodist Church.. where they had a combined service for christmas.. so the service was in 3 languages.. cantonese, mandarin and english.. all at one go.. it was really awesome.. seeing how different generations of Christians all serving and worshipping in the same place.. it's really one big family without differences and barriers.. And the new building is really nice...
well that's sunday "church life" for me.. visiting churches.. catching up with friends from those churches.. since I have no home church in sg.. and never back here long enuff to settle down in a church...
life has been pretty hectic... hence the lack of updates.. and blogging.. many things happened before and after I left Perth.. too many to state them now.. esp with my sister's wedding coming up in 3 days time!! It just freak me out.. coz there's still so much to do... (well on my part) hens nite will be tmr nite... hopefully everything turns out fine.. we've finally fixed a place.. time.. and well.. the gifts and games.. I'll hand it down to shirlz and crystal.. besides another photo/video montage that I need to do.. I still need to get another haircut.. maybe dye my hair black/brown.. and get a mani & pedi done.. oh yah.. and pluck eyebrows.. sheesh... all these money expenditure.. for my sis's wedding.. I've kindaf wiped out my 2 savings accts in s'pore.. over the last trip and this current trip in s'pore.. it's scary how much I've spent.. :(
Anyway, just this morning alone.. both my parents said stuff to me.. that left me "a bit shaken".. different timing.. different topics... but it's a bit too much for me to digest at this point in time.. esp. with all the preparation work that needs to be done.. I don't really have the time to think abt my own personal stuff.. and deal with them.. :( Anyway, back to "work" now... ohyeah, after the wedding.. I'll be busy with pre-east timor trip preparation work.. coz I've got backlog of stuff need to be settled as well.. and meet up with some pple.. that I've yet to meet up.. flying off to bali + east timor on 7th.. back in SG on 15th.. and back to Perth on 16th.. so I reckon I wouldn't have much time to update here.. till after Planetshakers conference in Perth which ends on 19th Jan.. so friends.. take care.. and seeya soon.. Lots of things happening.. even though there's lots of sad "smiley" faces.. but it's all good.. coz my faith is in God.. and I trust in Him to make all things work for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose. :D
