it's been a very interesting start to my new year.. hehe.. well, I was with Susu.. at Jalan Kayu's Roti Prata when 2004 ended and 2005 started.. haha.. so much so for the "countdown"... not even a single person said Happy New Year out loud at that place.. even though it was so crowded.. haha.. den at 12:01am.. Su and I realised it's 2005 aledi.. den we said Happy New Year to each other.. lalala...
How did I spend the last few moments of 2004.. well, initially supposed to go iceskating.. but in the end I was there watching pple skate.. coz Janice concluded that it's too crowded.. not worth the $$.. so we sat there and look at those kids doing figure skating.. omigosh.. so nice.. and the stupid thing is.. they block off like 1/3 of the rink.. for the 1 person having lesson.. and 2 others practising.. and 2/3 of the rink has like the bulk of the population.. there's juz simply no space to even skate a bitta faster... Silly Pple..after that met up with Patricia who was with Yingzhi.. (all my secondary sch classmates) so most pple wouldn't know whom I'm mentioning abt..
oh wellz, we took photos.. but I can't upload them!!.. coz I lost my usb cable.. to connect my camera to the computer.. oh wellz, I guess I juz have to go buy a multi card reader.. :( *sighz* dats the worst thing that can happen.. and the next is.. my dear joanna feng finishing up all the tai yang bing.. altogether 8.. dat qianling bought for all of us.. coz she said.. she scared it'll spoil so she quickly finish up all of them.. woah.. thanx joanna for eating our share and not wasting food.. :( *sobz*...
Anyway back to meeting patricia and yingzhi.. it was pretty funny lah.. haha.. eating at swensen's.. chit-chatting.. taking photos.. and laughing our heads off at Janice.. lalala... oh wellz, shan't disturb her anymore.. while having dinner.. i received a msg from Alicia Cai.. my long lost Sec 1- Sec 4 classmate.. sms.. haha.. well, not really long lost.. coz I met her in town whenever I'm back for holidays.. July I met her at Citylink.. and recently I met her at Cineleisure.. oh wellz, we say we're "fated" to meet each other.. haha.. and that's how we got to be in touch again... even though there's friendster.. but oh wellz, yep.. and she invited me to her birthday party..that's gonna be on the next day... I was kind of reluctant to go.. coz I dun have much time to prepare a present.. and I was worried that I'll feel awkward at the birthday party... (guess I worry too much.. haha.. ) at ard 1+am or so.. I was just about to send the sms to alicia and tell her I don't think I'll be going.. (hehe.. coz this other girl that she's inviting.. whom I "can talk to" won't be going.. ) den I suddenly realised something.. it's her 21st birthday party!!.. (I guess it's something BIG.. in everyone's life... to turn 21.. haha.. so I decided that I shall turn up.. :P) yah.. it didn't really occur to me it's 2005 aledi u see.. so yah.. my secondary sch friends are all supposed to turn 21.. haha
Anyway, I went to her birthday party today.. or rather last nite.. it was pretty fun... meeting up with pple I haven't seen for like 4 yrs!.. haha.. and laughing at alicia cai, or rather laughing with her.. haha.. I'm glad I went.. it was juz quite casual and all.. so silly of me to think that I'll feel awkward.. I want to post photos.. but I can't.. irritating.. maybe I'll try to buy a multi card reader tom.. if I can find one that's cheap in town..
yah.. it's pretty late now.. but I can afford to sleep in.. dun need to go church on sunday morning.. haha.. I'm not pontaning.. haha.. it's juz.. I went to CHC with my sister in the evening liaoz.. so yep.. hehe.. it's been ages since I last went to church.. and I'm serious abt it... well, besides going for Diana Eng's water baptism.. on Christmas.. hehe.. coz it's totally different... The last time I been to church was in Perth.. on like 5th Dec.. haha.. coz after that I spent all my sundays overseas... :( Anyway, it's cool to spend the 1st day of the new year in church.. praising God and thanking Him for the blessings He's given me.. for the whole of last yr... and now I feel all pumped up... oh wellz, maybe I should go keep up with the bible reading plans.. and start to plan for the new year ahead.. *sighz*... headache.. hehe.. okie.. going off to sleep soon...
